I am a NYC-based Artist and Art Teacher that wants to bring joy into your home with his Artwork. On my website you can purchase original artwork, prints, and other items. Follow me on all Social Media accounts for a behind-the-scenes look at my work.
As a New York City teacher for the past 18 years and an artist/painter for even longer, I have tried to instill joy in my students and joy in my art. Life is a series of events that lead us down a number of paths. I am trying my best to visualize/conceptualize my feelings and emotions into my art and on a canvas.

My Story
Dr. G. grew up in the suburbs of Rochester, NY. went to Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, NY where he received his Art Education degree to teach K-12 students in New York State. Immediately after graduating from college he took a position teaching in the small Amish town of Clymer, NY. After a year in Clymer he realized that he wanted to be in a larger city...so it was off to the Big Apple. Dr G. then began teaching in NYC (Bronx), and has been there for most of his career (with a couple pit-stops at the Charles Finney School and Ascend Charter School. He has taught at all age levels from Pre-K-12th grade and has always shown his students that if you strive for greatness you will attain it.
Along the way, Dr. G. got married and 2 kids came with that. The past 16 years of marriage with my lovely wife, Lilia, have been filled with many wonderful memories. Art, creating, and painting has always been at the heart of my teaching. I now want to show the world what I have been holding back visually. My goal is to visually create joy, feelings, and emotions onto a canvas and bring that into your home....forever!
